Hi everyone! We're trying something new here. I've been doing workshops with customers and prospects for years, in-person and virtual as well. But always for a specific company.
But for the first time ever, I'm going to be hosting a public virtual workshop, an introduction to All Things Solace, our "Dive Into Solace" Dev Jam. Registration is open and free. It's a hands-on workshop where I'll go through a bunch of Solace features and benefits, and you can ASK QUESTIONS if you want..! (marketing text down below)
It will be happening at: (these are all the same time, just different time zones for reference)
- PST -08: Tuesday July 12th 5pm
- EST -05: Tuesday July 12 8pm
- GMT 00: Wednesday July 13th 1am
- IST +05:30: Wednesday July 13th 5:30am
- HK/SG/CN +08: Wednesday July 13th 8am

Events are a core component of all new business architectures. They are the life blood of the enterprise, allowing applications to react in real time to an ever-changing environment.
As software architectures shift to more event-driven designs, the usage of traditional REST-over-HTTP for communication can limit the flexibility and performance of distributed applications and microservices β it is not a communication pattern well-suited for event-driven microservices, or for IoT and hybrid cloud use cases.
This developer workshop will explore how the Solace PubSub+ Platform, which includes both the PubSub+ Event Portal and Event Brokers, enables real-time, bidirectional communication between and inside applications, across data centers, clouds and continents by complementing synchronous REST-over-HTTP communication with a publish-subscribe architecture pattern. It will highlight key capabilities of the Event Broker for different use cases, how an Event Portal promotes collaboration, ease of software design and delivery, governance, events topology visualization, cataloging and discovery. The workshop will include presentations, demos, and focus on hands-on development.
