Big News! Using Event Portal to configure or audit your broker services just got easier

We’ve got some great updates to share about Event Portal - designed to make your life simpler and your workflows faster. Here’s the scoop:

*1. One-Click Connections for Cloud-Managed Brokers *

No more manual installs, configuration, or upgrades. If you’re using cloud-managed brokers in dedicated or private regions, you can now connect them with Event Portal with just a few clicks.

  • No self-managed agents required: We’ve cut out the need for self-managing Event Management Agents in these scenarios.
  • Speeds things up: Makes connecting your broker services with Event Portal quick and easy.

Public regions up next! Soon, you won’t need agents for brokers in public regions either.

A couple of things to note:

  • If you’re already using self-managed Event Management Agents, you’ll need to enable Event Portal Connections and clean up your old agents. (Need help? Contact support.)
  • Moving data centers? Don’t forget to update your Event Portal to broker service/environment mappings to keep features like Discovery & Audit running smoothly.

*2. Environment Integration Has Landed *

We’ve extended multi-environment support in Cluster Manager to Event Portal. Now you can:

  • Select environments and keep that context while navigating Runtime Event Manager.
  • Use environment icons and colors to stay organized.

What stays the same?

  • Configuration Templates and Event Management Agents are still environment-agnostic.
  • Design and Catalog work across all environments without specific context.
