Question on MQTT Authentication

Hi, I am trying to connect using MQTT, I have downloaded the Solace MQTT Sample from

and am running the TopicPublisher and TopicSubscriber right now. I noticed that it doesnt matter what username and password I put, I am still allowed to connect to the pubsub service. Why is this so??

This is a question from a prospect, after checking I believe this is because the Authentication is set to None.
