Slack App for PubSub+ Event Portal
Hello Solace Community,
In an attempt to enhance your EDA experience, we have built integrations to tools and the processes that you and your IT teams use on a daily basis. These include Slack, Confluence, GitHub, IntelliJ, Jenkins, and many more.
As a starter, I recommend reading the blog Supercharge your Software Development Lifecycle with PubSub+ Event Portal.
In this post, I wanted to share information on Slack & Solace Event Portal integration. The Solace PubSub+ Event Portal integration for Slack gives you and your teams full visibility into your Event Portal resources right in Slack channels, where you can access information about your Application Domains, Applications, Events, and Schemas. This integration is an open-source project built and maintained by Solace-Labs.
In the Solace Slack App, a Slack user can interact with Solace Event Portal:
Slash Commands - Interactions with Solace PubSub+ Event Portal exposing resources via slash commands -
URL Unfurling - Exposing Event Portal resources represented by an Event Portal URL
Interactivity - Contextual interactions on the slash command or URL unfurled output to drill down and access child resources.
