Comparision on EventCatalog vs Solace

Has anyone done comparison between OpenSource EventCatalog Tool and Solace by any chance ?

Solace offers an event driven architecture platform which includes PubSub+ Event Broker and Event Portal: The broker used for the run-time aspect of your EDA and Event Portal for the design and governance aspect. You can read more about it here https://solace.com/products/platform/

EventCatalog is mainly used for documenting EDA. I'm assuming you were referring to comparison between EventCatalog and Event Porta (EP)l? In that case, EventCatalog is only used for documenting an EDA using AsyncAPI. On the other hand, EP provides that and much more such as RBAC, visualizations, version management, configuration push into the underlying broker system. I just scratched the surface with this differences feel free to ask any follow up questions!

What is your use-case? how are you planning to use EventCatalog?
