As part of the SolaceCommunity OS github projects, we are proud to see regular contributions from several community members. (pssst check out this SolaceCommunity Github Contribution Guide to learn more about it!)

I'd like to do a quick shout out to two projects that has been getting regular updates:

Solace Queue Browse Chrome Extension

This chrome extension helps with viewing the message content of a queued message directly on the Messages Queued page.

The latest update (as of October 2024) offers the following new features:

  • Support for storing multiple 'Connections,' making it easy to switch between environments.
  • AES-GCM encryption for securely storing user passwords for each Connection.
  • Import/export functionality for Connections.

Check it out and share your contributions!

Shout out to @leonard and his team for the contributions and maintenance.

Solace Prometheus Exporter

This Go-based application grabs metrics via SEMP v1 and provides those as prometheus friendly http endpoints. The latest modifications takes into account missing log filter for the scope GlobalSystemInfo.

Shoutout to @GreenRover and his team for the contributions and maintenance.

Remember - you can show your support to the community members through ⭐️'ing the repos you're using! And if you ever have any questions about contributing to Solace Community projects do not hesitate to reach out or open issues directly in the repos.
