How to manually adjust the VPN limits
Problem
After typing in the command solace> show message-spool message-vpn Solace_VPN in the Solace Command Line Interface (CLI), you find that the output value for Configured Max Egress Flows does not match that for Max Egress Flows.
Prerequisite
Download SolAdmin.
Solution
There are two options for fixing the issue.
If you meet the system requirements, you can follow the procedure to increase the connection scaling tier.
This tutorial shows the other option, that is, to adjust the VPN limits manually.
To do that, follow these steps:
- In SolAdmin, select the Message VPNs, ACLs & Bridges tab.
- In the Select View: drop down menu, choose Message VPNs.
- Right-click on your VPN and select Edit in the pop-up list.
- In the Edit Message VPN dialog box, select the Advanced Properties tab and then adjust the Max Egress Flows value to match the value for your Configured Max Egress Flows.
- Click OK.
Result
The output values for Configured Max Egress Flows and Max Egress Flows should match now.
