Hometown: Kerala, India

Years of being a developer: 2.2 years as a professional developer

Primary programming language(s): Little bit of Java, but mostly the integration platforms, MuleSoft, Solace PubSub+, TIBCO, Azure

How did you start as a developer?

I started as an IT professional, and it was a roller coaster ride for me. I was completing my graduation specialization in computer science, and I got an internship in MuleSoft. Now I am working as a MuleSoft developer.

What is your typical day like?

My typical day starts with coffee and a workout for an hour. Then I prepare my plan for the day. We have a team meeting every day to interact and share things. After that, I check my calendar to see if there is something scheduled for the day.

What is your favorite thing about being a developer?

Problem solving and in general just realizing that there are endless opportunities to grow and make an impact. Also, I am able to provide solutions for various business organizations and domains. Additionally, I love the sense of achievement when our solution benefits or makes life easier for people.

What project are you currently working on?

I am currently serving as a MuleSoft developer for a major client and working on multiple projects for it.

What new skills or technologies are you learning?

I am currently learning more about the Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).

What cool tech trends are you seeing?

I really like AI and I believe Internet of Things and Internet of Behaviours are here to stay and have massive impact on people’s lives.

What advice do you have for other developers?

The more you learn, the more you’d grow. Engage with people, talk to them, try to become an active member of the community, be quick to adapt to new things, and help others.

If you could retire now, what would you do?

Be with someone who loves me.

If you were a Solace Developer Community admin for one day, what would you do?

I would encourage developers to connect more and share their experiences widely with the community.

Do you have anything else to share with the Community?

Let’s make this community one of the best places to learn and explore.

What is your Solace wish?

I would want Solace to engage more with the customers and organize hackathons.
